The Courses Taught by Dr. Mito
Here is the list of the courses taught by Dr. Mito at UTRGV.
Fall 2015
Organic Chemistry I (CHEM2323)
Course Objective:
The first course in a two-part sequence in organic chemistry CHEM2323-2325. This course provides a foundation of organic chemistry, i.e. the understanding of structure, properties, interactions, transformations and nomenclature of organic compounds.
Spring 2016
Organic Chemistry II (CHEM2325)
Course Objective: The second course in a two-part sequence in organic chemistry CHEM 2323-2325. This course provides a foundation of organic chemistry, i.e. the understanding of structure, properties, interactions and reactions of organic compounds. The class works are able to connect organic chemistry to your daily life.
Organic Chemistry II Laboratory (CHEM2125)
Course Objective: This course provides an introduction to laboratory techniques in organic reactions (Co-requisite CHEM2325, lecture course of Organic chemistry II). This course emphasizes each student's independently learning to manipulate equipment, and to handle, separate, purify and characterize organic compounds. Students will be learning experimental technique in organic chemistry while working with small molecules.
