About Me
I joined the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) in Fall 2024 as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this, I was an Engineering Research Associate in the Department of Pediatrics (Cardiology) at Stanford University. I earned my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. My research focuses on cardiovascular flow modeling, simulation-based surgical planning for cardiovascular diseases, and medical device design and optimization.
