P&G 2018 ENGINEERING AND COMPUTER SCIENCE INNOVATION CHALLENGE

To all College of Engineering and Computer Science students, you are invited to participate in the:

P&G 2018 ENGINEERING AND COMPUTER SCIENCE INNOVATION CHALLENGE

Compete as a team designing and prototyping an innovative engineering solution to a real-life challenge.

Receive mentoring and support during the competition, and display your engineering solution to win a prize.

o   Informational Meeting

·        Wednesday Nov 14, 2018 – 9:00AM CT

o   Competition Kick-off

·        Friday November 16, 2018

o   Final “Shark-Tank” Presentation

EENGR Building Edinburg Campus

 

DEADLINE

Apply by Monday Nov 12 at 11:59 PM CT

 

TEAMS

·        Must be composed of 4 to 5 currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students from the College of Engineering and Computer Science.

·        Teams representing student organizations and independent teams are welcome.

·        Multidisciplinary teams are preferred, but there is no constraint on the composition of teams.

·        If you are looking to join a team or your team needs students go to the event info website.

 

PRIZES

·        Prizes and recognition will be given to the first, second and third places in the general Innovation category.

·        Recognition will be given: Most Creative, Best Prototype, Best Team Spirit, and Best Social Media Team.
