My secrets for good grades are:

- Start stuying early - 2-3 weeks before the exam. Try to read a chapter at night before going to bed. Repeated reading will help you remember better. Also, reserve a certain amount of time each day (20-40 minutes) devoted to studying the subject.

- Take down notes while studying this will help you remember what you have read. Try to give yourself short mental quizzes when your mind is idle - while you are taking a bath, for example, you can try to recall the definitions of some important words or concepts. Also, preparing flash cards with time and the definitions may be useful to jig your memory.

- Do not cram. Studying 2-3 days before the test the will give devastating results. Try to get a good night's sleep the day before the exam.
