  • I listen carefully to the lectures. 
  • I also read each chapter thoroughly and pay close attention to figures, charts and tables, and complete the questions at the end of each chapter.

My secrets for good grades are:

  • try to keep up with the reading before quizzes and tests.  I don't save it all until the day before the exam.

  • I pay special attention to the figures, tables, highlight articles in the textbook.
  • take my own notes in addition to the notes from the web page, including any specific examples given during lecture.
  • When I don't have time to read (or re-read) the chapters carefully, the little chapter summary boxes are a great way to get the important points and concepts quickly.
