Hello and welcome to my faculty page. I teach a number of core undergraduate computer science courses at UTRGV. I am particularly interested in helping students learn the fundamental concepts of computer science. I am always looking for ways to improve computer science education here at UTRGV. I work closely with other faculty members in our department to make sure our undergraduate students receive the best possible education. I am actively involved in promoting computer science education in high schools of the Rio Grande Valley. I also chair the annual High School Programming Contest held at UTRGV every Spring semester. Please contact me if I can be of any assistance to you.

Background
I am originally from Tucumán, Argentina. I have a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. I first came to the United States in 1986 to pursue a masters degree in Computer Science. After finishing my degree, I returned to Argentina where I worked as an independent programmer for several different companies. During that time I also worked as an instructor at La Universidad Nacional de Tucumán. I returned to the United States in August 1999 and started working as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at UTRGV.
I enjoy playing tennis and watching auto racing on TV.
