Design Table

In this tent you will learn how to make all the pins for this assembly.  Each pin is defined by two simple dimensions, the diameter and the length.  There is a tool called a "Design Table" that will let you create similar parts such as the pins used in this assembly.  You will want to use these tables for standard parts like pins as it will save you time when you make new assemblies that use similar parts.  We are going to use the pin from the cart assembly so you should have that file handy before we start.  Click on the Design Table link to learn how to use this new tool.  Remember that the names “pin2” and “pin3” are already taken by the shoulder pins.

You will only be required to print the design table with the relevant dimensions for each pin.   No drawing is required for the pins in this Tent.

After your training is complete in this tent, please proceed to the next tent to receive your instructions.
