Welcome to Camp A. In this camp we will teach you the importance of design.  You will learn a systematic approach to solving problems using a six step design process. The instructor in each tent in this camp will focus on one of these steps.  I will introduce you to the problem.  In the next camp you will be learning how to use the computer for design.  The use of the computer in the design process is called computer aided design.

The Problem:

The virtual world was at peace until a rebel group took over the fortress. This encampment, the training camp, is where preparations are being made for a siege against the fortress. You have been recruited to support the effort to drive out the rebel group occupying the fortress.  The conquest of Billgatia led to the introduction of computers but we lack trained individuals who are familiar with CAD.  Enjoy your time here but take your training seriously as future generations of the virtual world are depending on your success.
