About me

I am an assistant professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) where I joined in Spring 2023. I received my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Construction Engineering from The American University in Cairo. My background is rooted in Construction Engineering and Management. My research preferences cover multidisciplinary applications. I am particularly interested in data science, artificial intelligence, and complex computer simulation using agent-based modeling and system dynamics.
